Shark's robo vac checks off most of the boxes that you would expect from a machine in this price range. It is reliable in cleaning, an easy-to-use mobile app and produces accurate home maps.
It also features Matrix Clean Navigation, a system that does two passes back and forth, before moving to the side for complete coverage. And its base is unbagged, which is different from other robot vacuums.
1. Roborock S4
This is an excellent robot vacuum for bare floors that collects debris and has a large dirt storage compartment. The smart pathing system works well and the app allows you to manage cleaning and docking. The app gives you an overview of cleaning, including a map showing where the S4 was cleaned, the cleaning time and battery life.
The S4's maximum suction is 2,000Pa, which is comparable to larger vacuums. The S4's side brush and combo brush are located closer to the front of the machine than the other Roborock models. This may be to reduce the possibility of clogging.
The S4's advanced navigation technology can digitally map a house up to four levels and will recall the areas it has already cleaned, making it simple to establish a cleaning schedule without having to manually move the robot around rooms. It is easy to remove the bin and then empty it into a trash can; this may be messy, but it also saves you money on new bags.
The bin is large, so the EZ Robot can handle a lot of debris. It also performs well on clean floors, but it does struggle somewhat with dirt embedded in carpets with a low pile. It also has decent navigation capabilities and a small footprint for docks.

The IQ XL also comes with a variety of other useful features. This includes the ability to schedule entire-home cleanings remotely and review cleaning reports via the SharkClean App. You can also control the device using voice through Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant to start, stop, and resume cleaning sessions. The row-by-row feature is an advantage. It makes your home clean in neat rows, not the back and forth snake pattern like other robots do.
The IQ XL's biggest drawback is its inability to climb over obstacles like power cords, which it might consider solid barriers and avoid climbing over. It's also not as quick or efficient in navigating the room when it's stuffed with pet hair, which could tangle its brushes and slow it down.

This is a great robotic vacuum from Shark that provides a range of features. It has a self-emptying bottom that holds up to 30 days of debris. It combine the cleaning capabilities of an automatic vacuum and a mop. It offers a matrix grid cleaning mode, and features advanced smart home integration that can work with Alexa and Google Assistant. You can program it to clean, activate it on demand or set virtual boundaries to prevent the robot from entering rooms that contain rug or other items that are fragile.
The Shark AI Robot does a great job cleaning floors with no carpet. It picks up debris with ease, like rice. It has a hard time removing large, bulky debris from carpets with low pile and is unable to maneuver around furniture with large dimensions. It comes with a do not disturb feature which allows you to use it at home without it disrupting your daily routine.
Another advantage is that it uses LiDAR technology to map out your home which allows it to detect and navigate around obstacles with greater precision than those that rely on gyroscopes or infrared sensors. This helps it avoid hitting delicate objects, and optimize dirt collection on various surfaces. The LiDAR system also operates faster than gyroscopes, which can cause the robot slow down and lose control when it comes into contact with uneven surfaces.
It has a fair number of other features, including the ability to control mopping with a remote, an automatic system, and multiple vacuum modes. It can charge and recharge itself while working. The biggest issue is that it only maps only one floor. If you have two floors, it's going to need to be manually transported to the areas, and then programed to repeat.

In our cleaning test, it was able to remove 97.8% of debris from carpeting and hardwood floors although it wasn't as effective on high-pile carpeting. Its maneuverability is solid, and it can easily maneuver through furniture, climb onto carpets with high pile and climb over things like rug tassels and electrical cords without getting stuck.
